Enjoy a Gentle Yoga practice using Anusara Yoga alignment principals in foundational poses and sequences incorporating breath work and meditation. This class is designed to create a healthy body and a peaceful mind for those who enjoy a softer practice. It is paced more slowly than our Basic Yoga class and ends with a delicious period of meditation and deep relaxation. Various beginning level meditation techniques will be taught so you can establish a more regular practice to help with daily stress and tension.

Restorative Yoga Workshop
Saturday, May 9th 1:00 - 3:30 PM $35.00 Taught by Juliet Hewitt, RYT-200 & Anusara-inspired instructor
Let's face it: Some yoga poses taste a little bit sweeter than others. And if yoga were a smorgasbord, restorative postures would most definitely be at the dessert table. These soothing and well-supported poses offer us the opportunity to linger quietly for a few moments and savor the simple sweetness of life. In an ideal world every asana would feel restorative. But those that fall into the special category of restorative poses have a particular ability to leave us nourished and well rested. These postures are usually deeply supported by blankets, blocks, or other props and are held for several minutes at a time.
Led by Stacey Millner-Collins, certified Anusara Yoga instructor
Professor Brad Collins, Ph.D, History of Art (Yale University)
